Javascript and Behaviors
See the book for using behaviors in dreamweaver, but don't rely on on behaviors for navigation. If the behavior (javascript) you're using doesn't work with a particular browser, that user won't experience whatever it is you're trying to do. For example, if you're going to use pop-up menus, make sure that there's an alternate way to click to the pages listed in the menus.
Cutting Rollover Graphics
Each version, normal and over, must be the same size and any imagery should be placed in the same location. This is another important use of the guides layer in photoshop. It enables you to cut each version exactly the same, so that you don't get annoying jumps on rollover.
