Twin Cities
Minneapolis is a great town, despite the 2 degree weather. We spent a sunny Sunday afternoon at the Loring Cafe, drinking beers and playing cribbage with our friends Jenny, Dave and Amy.
The Walker is a great museum. We saw a show of atomic-age design and art, which was pretty interesting, but the highlight was definitely their permanent collection. Tons of video and even a big section on Fluxus.
Speaking of art, the Whitney Biennial site is such a disappointment. There’s some interesting stuff, but it’s presented so poorly: tons of dead links, and most links point to .swf’s instead of html pages
