Lunar Disturbances
NASA, under the oversight of our fearless leader, G-dub, has a really smart idea to solve global warming.
Here’s the great idea: let’s move the earth’s orbit farther from the sun by flinging an asteroid close to the earth. Who cares that we might hit the earth, effectively exterminating ourselves.
Oh wait, that would solve global warming. Maybe they’re onto something here.
Who cares that we’ll probably lose the moon. No more full moons to make people crazy. Crime will drop. Those pesky tides will stop. It’s the panacea we’ve been looking for.

I’m a bigger fan of this idea they have of shipping out tons of debris to insert into our orbit to somehow create this reflector of cosmic rays and whatnot.
