Gas Guzzlers
Car Talk has started a campaign against SUV’s. It’s about time that someone of their stature took a stand. I’m so sick of the self-centered egomaniacs who think they need to drive one of those damn things, especially when they’re talking on their cellphones and veering all over the road.
The quiz, in true Click and Clack style, is quite funny—(By “off-road,” we don’t mean a dirt road or parking on the lawn for a football game, we mean “no road,” tree stumps, etc.)
I scored a 1 on a scale of 0 to 15. Hmm, guess I don’t need one, but of course, I knew that already.
Click and Clack have a more balanced approach than these stickers. I appreciate the general sentiment—it’s kind of an interesting subversive idea, but there’s just something more than a little problematic about painting all oil-producing countries as terrorist organizations.
