CODeDOC
The Whitney has a really interesting show, CODeDOC, which brings the code of web art to the forefront. When you view a piece, you actually have to read through the code, or at least see it. Maybe people notice the patterns and the structure, maybe they don’t. I particularly enjoyed the perl-based pieces. I know just enough perl to figure out what they do before running them, or not running them in certain cases.
