Comments Form Layout
One of my recent favorites, Antipixel, has a discussion about the layout of the comments form in MoveableType. Now that I’m redesigning this site, it’s time to pay attention to details like these. I’ve gotten too caught up in the technical details and haven’t really paid attention to the design details…

I think that this comment should have been posted on the previous entry, but I don’t feel like figuring out how to move it…Just a little simple mySQL update and a quick rebuild fixed that. Anyway, it’s nice to read some serious thinking about interface design on personal sites. I’ve tended to ignore the layout of this little form that I’m typing into, but it’s time to revisit it.
Shifting gears, classes tend to be a litle sparse in the summer at WCC, but they’re definitely good for picking up technical skills. Nice site, by the way.

yeah, hopefully i’ll be able to supplement eastern’s offering’s with washtenaw’s and make something of a full schedule. i was disappointed to see that washtenaw stopped offering color photography classes and the nasty rumor is that they’ve sold their color machine and have gone completely digital. digital is nice and all but sometimes you can’t entirely replace the old with the new… hmpf!
thanks for the compliment, and yeah, i’m chalking the incorrect reply-age to my flakiness. sorry about that.

nice idea! it’s really not too hard to change anyways so i don’t see why it’s just not changed in the default templates… i’ve cleared my info a few times by accident & i’m familiar with the MT comments form.
anyways, nice site. i somehow stumbled onto to … looking at a blog directory i think by location. cool to hear you teach at washtenaw. i go to eastern & my concentration is in graphic design. they tell us to take classes at washtenaw to pick up more technical and web skills & i’m thinking i’ll do that this summer… i could definitely learn more about photoshop.
