Rel Attribute Values
The official list of rel values for link elements. I’m curious about the rev attribute. It’s interesting in that it implies multi-directional links, but the rel attribute would serve the purpose of describing the relationship between the two pages adequately.
I started thinking about all the different types of link relationships after reading about rel="bookmark" on Tantek’s log. I like the idea of using it in all your links, but it seems like the spec states that all bookmarks should be listed in the links in the document head. I’m also not entirely sure that using rel="bookmark" is appropriate on my site, since all archived entries appear on their own pages, not on a monthly or daily page with bookmarks. So, I think that adding the link rel="bookmark" tags to the internal comments, etc. bookmarks is appropriate.
