D is for W
Finally, Mr. Schroeder gets his D is for W piece online.
If the sexy youth of the US get behind W there’s nothing we can’t let him do. So this campaign, D is for W is about how I, D, think W is awesome, and I’m young and sexy. Like beer commercial sexy. Youth for Bush etc. Hopefully it will climax in a series of “re-unelect Bush” spots.
One of the best video pieces I’ve seen in a while.

I was thinking more along the lines of ironic and coolly subversive — adopting the languages of MTV, but injecting politics. He turns the vacuity of MTV and company onto itself by positioning the attitude of cool apathy against the absurd: that “now is the time to relax”.

Wow, scary but good stuff. In fact, maybe a tad creepy. D is for W…this all has a Twilight Zone’ish kind of feel. No?
