mootools, IE, and Named Colors
Internet Explorer 7 and probably 6, can’t deal with mootools’ (revision 83) Fx.Color.toColor () method when the start color is set by a color name, such as “black” or “green”. IE throws a bunch of javascript “invalid property value” errors while the transition runs—one for each color assignment. The fix: use hex codes for colors in your css.
